Halo + Wren is thoughtfully designed for brides who are ready to begin the exciting journey of choosing their wedding gown. Most of our brides have already started to refine their personal style, are within approximately 12–15 months of their wedding, and are ready to invest in finding the dress they will walk down the aisle in. Rather than offering endless rails of similar gowns, we provide a carefully curated collection and expert, honest guidance, helping you make a confident decision without the overwhelm.

With the guidance of your dedicated bridal stylist, you'll begin trying on a carefully selected edit of gowns chosen specifically for you. Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, we'll use our expertise to refine your choices, helping you understand what truly suits your shape, style and vision. Every gown you try has a purpose, with the aim of helping you confidently recognise the one you'll walk down the aisle in.

LET'S MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Once you've confidently chosen your gown, your stylist will take your measurements, discuss the most appropriate size to order, complete your paperwork and arrange your deposit. We'll then place your order with your designer and guide you through every stage of your bridal journey, from ordering to collection. You can leave the details to us—it's time to celebrate finding the gown you'll walk down the aisle in.

IT'S GETTING REAL
Once your gown has been ordered, it will arrive between 5-8 months after order date depending on gown/designer. Now is time to sort veils/accessories, book a trial and let your stylists help you with the finishing touches. Once your gown has arrived we will be back in touch to let you know the very exciting news. It’s time! Your gown is ready to collect and you’re off on to the next stage of the journey, alterations and then MARRIAGE!

HOW TO GET TO US

Use the post code HP1 3AH, the Old High Street is a one way road, there is free parking outside the shop for 60 minutes, it is not camera controlled, however it is traffic warden controlled. There are several places to park for more than an hour, drive past the shop and take the first left into a low cost carpark - this carpark does not accept cash, only card or payments through the PAYBYPHONE App. Alternatively, if you continue straight past the shop and over the mini roundabout, you will see a line of cars parked along a wall, this is all restriction free parking, alternatively if you take the first left after the mini roundabout you will see a very large free carpark called Gadebride Park, which is a 5 minute stroll through the park back to the Old High Street.

Hemel Hempstead Station is located in Boxmoor and is on the line out of Euston, it is approximately a 24 minute journey depending on the train. Boxmoor and the station is about a 7/10 minute Uber/Taxi drive from H&W. This station is well served by buses, the store is also walkable through the main town if you have time.
The other station that is nearby is St Albans on the Kings Cross line, this is a 15/20 minute Uber/Taxi to H&W.

London Luton Airport is closest airport only a twenty minute drive away, we frequently have brides fly in and out of London Luton to visit, alternatively London Heathrow is approximately 30-45 minute drive away also.

Places to eat: The Old Town is well catered for with Coffee Shops including, Old Town Coffee & Cake, Coffee & Wine and Artichoke. We also have a notable South East Asian restaurant and Thai, however, close by for more brunch, bubbles, lunch and dinner we have The Marchmont Arms, which is a 5/10 minute walk straight down the road to H&W, it has free parking and a large popular garden, further down the road approximately a 5/10 minute drive is The Red Lion at Water End and a little further The Alford Arms.
Hemel Hempstead Old Town, notably is a historic area with parts dating back to Doomsday book, the High St is a popular place for filming and we are proud to be featured in several large movies and Netflix series like Ricky Gervais’s AfterLife. If you have time before or after your appointment, take a wonder, the Old Town is Hemel Hempstead jewel in the crown.

An H&W trial is strictly for the bride plus three guests maximum.

H+W is not suitable for babies or children, however, we understand that it is sometimes essential to bring babies. Please let the team know via email if this is the case.
Please be aware we cannot have prams in the showroom and we do not have changing facilities. Car seats can be accommodated in the suites. -
We politely request full payment for the gown. However, we can offer a 50% deposit with the remainder due ten weeks after order.

Our gowns range from £1,300-£7,000. Every gown we stock is individually priced on this website.

Our Bridal Trial appointment is £55.00. This fee is non-refundable nor is it redeemable against a gown purchase.
A Retrial Appointment is £25.00 and refundable against gown purchases made at the appointment.
Accessories appointment are £25.00 and are refundable against accessory or veil purchases made at the appointment.
Gown collection appointments are free.
A Sample Sale Appointment is £25.00 redeemable against the cost of a gown if purchased at the sample sale appointment.
